Video Recording
When the mode switch is in video recording mode (left), press and hold on the ON/OFF button to boot it and then the two indicators turn off at the same time, after the blue indicator flickers for three times and then turns off, it starts video recording automatically. To stop recording and save the video file press the ON/OFF button; after completion, it gets back to the standby status for video recording, with the yellow indicator always on.
Separate Sound Recording
When the mode switch is in sound recording / photo shooting mode (right), for automatic sound recording, press and hold on the ON/OFF button to boot it first and after the yellow indicator flickers for three times and then turns off, it starts automatically. To stop recording and save the sound file, press the ON/OFF button; after completion, it gets back to the standby status for photo shooting, with the yellow indicator always on.
Photo Shooting
In the standby status for sound recording / photo, pressing the ON/OFF button could take a picture that will be saved automatically, with the blue indicator flickering once.
Mode Switching
In video recording mode: after shifting the mode switch to the sound recording / photo shooting mode (right), the blue indicator turns off and the yellow indicator flickers twice, and then it starts sound recording.
In sound recording / photo shooting mode: after shifting the mode switch to the video recording mode (left), the yellow indicator turns off and the blue indicator flickers twice, and then it starts video recording.
Power Off
In any status after startup of this device, to power it off, press and hold on the ON/OFF button (please save the file first if a sound or video recording is in progress) and then the red and blue indicators turn on for 1 second and then off synchronously; then, it is off.
Time modification
It generates automatically a time modification file named “time.txt”.
Modify to the current time in the format shown in “time.txt” and then save it.
For example: 2013-10-01 23:23:59, modified to 2014-03-01 11:44:50
After the USB exits and rebooting this device the time will be updated to that modified to automatically.
Note:
The format must be followed in modifying the time.
The modification will not be valid before rebooting this device.
PC camera
This device could also serve as a driver-free PC camera. After connecting it to a computer and its dick is read successfully, press the ON/OFF button and wait till the “Removable HDD” changes to “USB Video Device” then double click the “USB Video Device ” to use it.
When there is no operation for 3 minutes in standby status, it will be off automatically.
Charging:In first use of this device, please charge its built-in rechargeable lithium battery with the charger before use.
No Card:It will be off after the yellow and blue indicators flicker for 10 times synchronously.
Card Full:It will be off after the yellow and blue indicators flicker for 5 times synchronously.
Low Battery:It will be off after the yellow and blue indicators flicker for 6 times alternately.
